Only today I´ve found out that there is a Walk of Fame in Berlin!
Says it all, really!
I love Minis…there is a Mini dedicated shop in Berlin. They sell clothing, acessories, and yes, cars as well. Mini was the one and only car I ever owned in my life. I´ve smashed it during an argument with my then boyfriend. The poor thing was written off. These days, if I could affors a BMW-Mini Cooper, it would be a good reason to take a German driving license.
After a hard week´s work, nothing like having your reward, especially when the company pays for it!

There is a site in Germany called Mitfahrgelegenheit, where you can get a lift paying usually less than travelling by plane or train. Here is the link:http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de/ Well, I´ve used it for the first time and I must say, sometimes I am definitely not one for technology! The way to Aachen was flawless, we had breaks on the way, but on the way back, disaster: the driver didn´t have my details. I had to confirm my reservation pushing a button, which I duly did. But I forgot to check if the car actually had spare places - which it didn´t . And yes, his car was full, and it´s a long way to Berlin, no way that guy would squeeze one more person. Panic! What to do? Pay more than a hundred euros for the train back? Hell, no, I just looked on their website if anyone else was going from Aachen to Berlin. And there was someone else - a young couple! So this has saved my retun. And I have learned that a) ALWAYS wait for confirmation of everything, and always have a plan…b. That´s it.
